Hey Guys! A couple days ago I went out and did some of my best shooting ever, at 2060 yards! I was shooting my savage 110 BA chambered in 338 Lapua with 300gr Berger OTM's at a steel torso target. Out of a total of 18 rounds fired I landed 4 solid hits. I probably would have done better but I had no idea I was hitting the target so a few times I dialed off after hitting. Time to get a better spotting scope now! Made a short video of the shoot, hope you enjoy!

what kind of load are you using? powder/grns

Thanks for the comments everyone! I'm using 90gr H-1000 with 215 primers in Lapua brass. I seat the bullets .025" off the lands. I haven't played with seating depth yet.

Appreciate you posting this! Great shooting and amazing scenery. What glass do you have on the Savage?

Thanks! The scope is a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x56 MIL/MIL with the MLR reticle

Tell me about it! it's hard to see in the video but there is a huge creek in front of the target about 15ft deep that I had to crawl down and hall back up the 80 lbs target through.lol Thanks for the comment!

That's dedication there brother. I figured you say that you have a quad trail through that terrain. That's God's country for sure!

Very nice shooting. Hard to see hits at that far. I use video when shooting solo at 1650 to come home and watch and take notes. Wife walked in to me standing at the big screen, got the smart assed "ooh that looks fun".

what was your video setup? interested to record my own shots like this

I just used two video cameras that are pretty cheap only 720p, then I just calculated the time of flight and during editing adjust everything accordingly. My editing program lets me time everything correctly down to .03 of a second so it's a pretty accurate representation of the shot.
