alright down and dirty question...has anyone ever used or have any reviews of these bino's??

Oceana 7x50 Porro WP IF and RC - Military / Camouflage [item # 71189-B]

I have the opportunity to open a catalog and say "send me this" free of charge, saw these, noticed they had a ranging reticle on them. They look pretty tough/rugged but I honestly dont know what im looking at with bino's. I havent found any review's on them aside from on Amazon and I dont trust amazon review's as far as I can spit so...I open to the floor to the people I trust with such matters. Main usage would be for hunting, and days at the range.

Thanks in advance

My Dad has a pair on his boat. The glass is OK but they are just like any other cheap pair of binoculars. Unless you need the compass try to find something better.

10 4, thanks...there are quite a bit of options in this catalog including a pair of Vivitar 18-52x80 "ultra high powered" binos (but i am skeptical of clarity with such a big zoom radius). As far as branding goes in the catalog, It basically boils down to Bushnell, Vivitar, and Celestron.

here are two other models from the catalog I was thinking about althought they do not have the "ranging" capability but oh well.

Bushnell - 7x 50mm
Bushnell - 8x 42mm
Bushnell - 10-22x 50mm

any thoughts on those?
