Does it shoot? Yes, yes it does. This is 5 rounds shot at 600 yards with SWA match ammo.

I would do it again in a minute. I would still consider going shorter (16.5"-16"). For all practical purposes, a 16" rifle should hit 1000 yards (paper punching) and still take deer at 300-400 yards. I think the days of tactical 24" 308 rifles is seeing an end. F class, Palma, classes like that will still see long barrels.

This rifle is very handy with and without a suppressor.

that stock finish looks different then any other digicam ive seen. is it some kind of proprietary pattern from them or do the pics just make it look different? either way, it looks great.

The shorter 308 rifles have certainly gained a lot of popularity lately. I don't really shoot a lot of 308 anymore unless it's for practice purposes, but I recently nailed a groundhog @ 340 yards with my 308 and trusty 175gr loads.
It kind of got me fired up to shoot my 308's more often.

I generally run a 20" or 24" rig with suppressors. It really depends on what ammo I am wanting to run.

So, this last weekend at the Oregon Sniper Challenge, I scored a fantastic chassis from McRee's Precision. Tossed and turned about selling it or keeping it.

I need to visit the for sale section and remove it!

Here are the photos with the associated length:

The engraving on your TT suppressor is a lot more defined (deeper and crisper edges) than mine has.
They must have changed the way they engrave them.

By the way, love the rifle.
I'm a fan of the McRees also.
