Shot this today @1,000 yards.
Prone off a bi-pod with a squeeze bag
Pulled 2 of the ten shots.
Wonder what it would do with a full bench rest type load and better shooter?

When I first put my 6CM (Competiton Match ) on paper at 1000 yards, my group was 6.5" tall, windage was less. I was running a 115DTAC @3225 fps. I reduced the load instead of going higher, don't know why, just did. I took 3ths of a grain out. Group went to under 4.5", first a 5 shot, then a 10 shot group. It chronographed @3153 fps, been shooting it ever since. 3900 + rounds down it, closer to 3950. I have not put it on paper at 1000 in a long time. At 600 3 weeks ago 10 shoots under .5 moa out of prone with a squeese bag. I know it will not be long before it starts to open up. This has all been done with H-1000 and a 115DTAC.

Yours will do better, I have a 30" that 2 months ago at 800 yards in a shoot I shot a 97 on a 600 yard IBS target off the bench, 7 of them were in a 2" group cutting the bottom of the x-ring while staying in the 10. 3 of the shots went left just barely out of the 10, wind pick up as I broke the shot.

8 of the 10 shots went 4.9 inches x 6.1 inches.
Cold bore
10 shots
No sighters
No wind flags
Shot in the middle of the Mojave desert laying in the sand truing MV .

been reading your stuff on this 6, talked to Chad D this week. when this 243 barrel goes you'll be getting some pm's from me, my next on will be a 6 cm.,This barrel is stupid accurate but I know it will not go 4k rounds.

How is brass life I have been thinking about changing one of my 308 to this caliber.

Brass life with Winchester brand brass is good with 8 to 10 loads on a case the norm annealing every 2 reloads.
