I have decided to purchase a Wilson Case Trimmer. Is there any difference between the L.E. Wilson, which Midway sells and the Sinclair/Wilson, which Brownells sells?

Thanks,

Without looking at their website, I'd assume that Midway is selling the straight Wilson trimmer. The Sinclair/Wilson includes some upgrades to the basic Wilson trimmer, such as micrometer adjustment and a hold-down device for the case holder. The also make a spiffy little base for the trimmer, with places for extra case holders. Same base trimmer in either format, though.

Great little unit, and hands down the best of the manually operated case trimmers on the market.

I like the upgrades Sinclair has done. The SS unit, micrometer, and case holder etc....
It looks like Wilson is now doing these upgrades in house as well but I like the micrometer better on the Sinclair. But either one will do the job very well.

I've got the SS model with the micrometer adjustment. VERY precise, easy to set trim length, and typical WILSON quality.

About as good as it gets IMHO for a crank style trimmer.

about Sinclair: I don't regret my multiple Case Trimmer buys, but I've never been able to appreciate their hold-down case holder, that nothin'add to the quality and good performance of the plain-jane version_

I bought the Wilson from Sinclair, all tricked out. Its nice! The extra stuff makes it easier or faster to use. The basic trimmer, clamped in a vice, is pretty good. The extra tricks make it even better. Go for it! Lightman
