I'm looking to put together a new battle belt and was wondering if anyone here runs the viking brokos belt. Is it good, any issues etc.

Brokos is my bolt gun belt. Holds up like a champ. Depending on how much weight you put on it you may need suspenders as the reinforcement insert inside doesn't like to bend more than a bit and if you are needing more curvature (see: not fat) it likes to leave a gap in the small of your back. Good thing is they make a matching set of suspenders that I have and like.
Right now, have from my left to right: 1 pistol mag, 2 double AICS mag pouches, small gadget pouch, IFAK and Safariland holster.

I've been running the TYR BROKOS belt with the ballistic inserts in it for over a year + now. It works great, no complaints.

I have a Brokos belt, have had it for about 6 months now. I like it, works great. I carry pistol (FN 45 Tactical), 2 TACOS w/ M4 and pistol mags, a Surefire light, and a small med kit.
The TYR version is identical to the Viking one with the exception of the ballistic insert, Brokos apparently licensed the design to several companies. The ballistic insert adds an additional expense, so if you don't need ballistic protection, don't get it. They use another padding material in lieu of the ballistic to provide rigidity/shape.
About to order my vtac brokos with the cobra belt but I'm not sure what size to get. I wear size 36 but XL states 36-38 and I'm thinking that may be too big. What did you guys order vs your pant size?
I use one size up from what I thought I'd wear. Remember its going over your pants and also needs to have the ends terminate close to one another. If I recall I am using a medium and I have a 30" waist.
