A hide member made the news

You guys don't know the 'whole story'. I'm sure that officer had a good reason for removing someone's personal property without a warrant. Stop being unreasonable.

Just thought I'd get a head start, I'm sure it'll get posted seriously.

I saw an article yesterday about a memo that authorized the FBI to label you as a terrorist supporter if you openly discuss 911 "Conspiracy theories", such as the 2500 architects, scientists etc pushing for a new investigation.

So them stealing your yard sign? Be lucky you don't end up in a federal prison, arrested under the Patriot Act for your terroristic (sarcasm) viewpoint.

I'm not a dohnut eater but if he was told to remove the sign wouldnt he first knock on the door and tell the owner it needs to come down and explain what reasoning? I mean even if the chief says go take down so and so's sign do they have the right to just do it?

shouldn't this be considered a hate crime as well?

at minimum petty theft and vandalism. Even if he was ordered to remove I would think common sense would tell him that he cant be ordered to break the law.

Someone said it above as the city typically has an easement on the street/highway etc, it is your obligation to maintain this land though you do not own it. Any improvements you make (I think this sign applies) can be removed. Ie if you plant a tree and it blocks sight lines on the street or corner. First question is how big is that easement in this area and second question is did that BI authorize him to leave the sign up or just said ok because he didn't want the fight. I'm not saying the cop was right or wrong no matter what I think he should have at least rang the bell before doing it, but we don't know the whole story, yet (hopefully).

I mean even if the chief says go take down so and so's sign do they have the right to just do it?

You are asking too many questions comrade. Report to reeducation camp 213 immediately.

Its an officer guys... We should not be resisting or questioning his actions.

I dont beleive this is right! A LEO is open to scrutany as much as we are. Yes most of them are (good guys) but just the simple fact that its LE doesnt mean we shouldnt question them on matters suck as this! Before anybody talks out there ass i do support them for the most part. Father in law was a LEO for 35yrs and i have plenty of buddies that are to,so no im not against them.
