Let see those Spartan Rifles

Here is my Surgeon 591 in .308 with a Bartlein 22" MTU. Marc is a stand-up guy and a true professional. When funds allow I will absolutely get in line to have him build me another.

Here are some of my NCPPRC club rifle build...perfect in every way!

Will try to dig up some of the pictures of my wife's Spartan custom, also...

Ill work on some pics this week on my 308 mark built for me. But just to throw it out there, i will destroy anybody that tries to take it from me. Mark is a stand up man to do business with and he is my motherfucker on rifle work period, The 308 he built me has owned plenty of 260's and 6.5 creedmores.

Semper fi,

I really have no clue if the pictures are going to work, I followed the directions so we shall see. Mine is a Remington 700 trued reciever with 26" M40 contour Bartlien Barrel, McMillian a5 stock with loggerhead, 20 MOA rail, Timney trigger set to 2.5 lbs, and is chambered in 6.5 creedmoor, topped with a Vortex Razor 5x20 in MOA. I will post pictures of some groups if I get to the range tomorrow waiting on a call from a buddy. I can tell you that this rifle shoots better than any other weapons system I have ever had my hands on!

Marc built this switch barrel for me, 308/260. Both barrels shoot lights out! I've been through a couple of 260 barrels and everyone one of them has been an absolute hammer and print like the photo posted! You couldn't ask for a nicer guy to deal with!

Mike @ CSTACTICAL

Just got my first rifle from Marc and can't wait to build the next one.

Surgeon 591 .260
Bartlein 26"
Timney trigger
AI AX chassis
SF brake
SWFA SSHD 5-20x50

I haven't had time to work up a load for it, but off the shelf ammo was already less than 1/2 moa. I think it's a 1/4 minute gun with hand loads - thing is ridiculous.

This one is not mine, but by far one of my favorite builds by Marc that I was a part of.

The AmericanSnipers.org build Marc did for the 2012 Surefire TBRC Invitational. This team effort by many of our sponsors raised around 20K for ASO last year.

I call this one Genesis

It is the rifle that started my addiction with Marc's work. It is a Badger M2008, Obermyer barrel, 6.5mm CM surefire break, CG extreme trigger, AICS 2.0.... Blah Blah Blah

picture:

Then while Genesis was in the process of being built I shot my Remington Target Tactical Barrel out, so I was going to be out of a gun until I got it re-barreled. I called Marc and he was only a few weeks away from being done with the CM so he said he could thread up a new barrel for the 308 and ship them back to me at the same time.

After Shooting these two beauties for about a year I wanted a critter getter. after alot of debate on my part as to what I wanted I called up Marc, sent him a donner Remington 700, and he put together this beautiful 20" 243. I did the paint, thus why it doesnt look as good as normal Marc work

chitty cell phone pic

And Last but not least in my collection, is my Long Sword. 7mm SAUM with a long throat, surgen action, KMW stock, blah blah blah...

I have a carbo tanium rifle in the works with him too, that will be a 7mm STW on a manners T5A ultralight stock, blah blah blah... when I get that one I will make sure to share the pictures with you guys.

hopefully that 243 will be exterminating a large Nevada Mule Deer in a few weeks.

Thanks for looking

Drew

here's mine: 6.5CM in a KMW stock, surgeon 591, bartlein barrel, score high muzzle break

And I'm headed down to Marc's shop this week with my new KMW stock to talk through my upcoming .243 build :)

My NorCal club rifle recently re-barreled into a 260rem. Not the prettiest Spartan (I never coat barrels), but I am sure she will drive.

Borden LH Alpine Action
Newman Bottom Metal
Bartlein 4 groove 8.5 twist MTU
Huber Trigger
Seekins 20MOA base

Here is a couple of updated pics. Just got the Razor HD scope two days ago. Mounted it and took it to the range to zero it.

Low round in the group I dumped! Still was a .312" moa group overall. Started trying to hard after those first 4 at 200 yards! The load was 41.7gr. of H4350 and Berger 105 Hybrids. Velocity is 2997fps. avg. and the barrel length is 23" finish. Powder charges were not weighed. Just ran them thru the Harrell powder measure after I checked a few to make sure it was dropping somewhat consistent. Only went to the range with 15 rounds of ammo. Primary purpose was to test a PD rifle before they picked that up but took mine to really just throw a zero on the scope. Was enjoying it so much wish I would've loaded and brought more ammo with me!

Bartlein Barrels
