Scope adjustments in tac comps

In some tactical competitions I see they only allow rangefinding through the use of specificly mil scopes. Do they allow/care if you use moa scopes? and if they dont why?

You can use any scope you want.

Generally speaking, you're talking about a stage where laser rangfinders are not permitted. A match director won't care how you range the target (Mils, MOA, SWAG) just so long as you don't use an RF.
