Adjustable gas block decision aggravation

I'm getting aggravated because I can't figure out what adjustable gas block to get.

18" barrel, rifle length gas system. I really want to run the Noveske NSR 16.7" handguard.

It'll be suppressed most of the time, so I also really want to run a toggle switch type gas block. But all I can find are the switchblock (which you can't get anyways) and the WAR receiver. The switchblock won't work with the handguard I want to run. The WAR receiver will have to be drilled out for a rifle length system.

What should I get? Am I missing something?

The two top adjustables right now I think are the Syrac and the SLR DA Series.

With a long hex wrench adjusting the SLR would be easy since the detent is integrated into the adjustment. The Syrac requires you to push in a detent and then turn the hex head so two tools, so not quite as easy on a hand guard that is going to be around 3.5" from the face of the gas block.

The gas block we have been using on our build is the MicroMOA Govnah. We recently installed them on several Colt Commando rebuilds for the state's S.E.R.T. team and they worked flawlessly. The MicroMOA is a low profile block that uses a plate with either two or three hole positions and there is a spring actuated detent that allows you to move between the different hole/port settings without tools. We set these up with a primary hole for non-suppressed that was drilled to the optimal port size for duty and training loads, a full open port for adverse conditions or lighter loads and then a smaller port for suppressed mode. The difference between the port settings while suppressed is noticeable and on the small port setting there was minimal to no blowback on the operator.

The beauty of this system is that you can get extra plates and drill the various ports in the plate to the optimal diameters for each application and then switch between them without tools or trying to remember how many turn in or out you need to be. we also found that the plate system with holes provided much more precise gas metering than a set screw partially obscuring the gas tube port.

This is by far the best and most innovative system I have tested.

Will this work for the OP who wants to run it under a Noveske 16.7" NSR handguard?
The handguard only gives you 0.3" of clearance on 3 sides with a mid weight barrel.

I like my srac ord. Is low profile and has detents so is easy to adjust. I run it on a .308 and it was the best mod I've added. Now is not over-gassed with my SDN-6.

Thanks for the post Ernie!

Here are some pictures of my gas block:

You just push the regulator plate with the tip of a bullet.

Regulator plate is modular, 2 or 3 position. The 3 positions are all custom so you just drill the ports out to whatever you want or don't drill if you want a shut off position.
Below is a picture of the 3 position custom plate:

It is the only 'tool-less' (meaning no allen wrench or screwdriver or whatever needed to change the position) that uses a standard, UN-modified gas tube.

Works under most rail systems and yes it does work with the Noveske NSR with no mods.
Below are some pics of a 3 position equipped Govnah under an NSR:
