U.S. Optics will be releasing the SR-4C at SHOT 2014. The SR-4C features a true 1X power, low setting and a daylight visible red dot sight. The SR-4C features the best of a holographic sight and a 1x4 variable magnified optic in a compact, rugged package that is 9.25” in length and weighs just under 20 ounces. Zeroing windage and elevation knobs minimize the profile of the SR-4C. 2/10 MIL knob adjustments make zeroing the reticle quick and effortless. With a true 1X power setting, the 4-MOA red dot sight is perfect for quick and decisive target acquisition in CQB situations. Dial the power ring to 4X to engage targets at short ranges up to 500 yards. The red dot can be set at any of 12 pre-programmed intensity settings.
A blue and green dot may be offered later in the year as part of the SR-4C commercial product line. Until then both LED color options are available if you custom order an SR-4C directly from U.S. Optics.
In addition to the SR-4C a new line of Horus Vision reticles will be debuted in the ER-25, LR-17, MR-10 and SR-8 series rifle scopes. All of these products are part of the U.S. Optics commercial product line and will be available to order at SHOT. Stop by to see these new products along with the current product line in our new booth layout. We are located at space #20031.
Yes, I hope that they bring back the ERGO on the MR-10 1.8-10X and that they also bring back the 44mm Objective lens on that very same model. Better yet, bring back the ERGO on all MR an LR models.
And the idea of a shorter and lighter LR-17 3.2-17X scope is most excellent too but with a bigger Objective lens, like 50mm, at least.
No, I won't be holding my breath meanwhile.
Sometimes, I wonder which place US Optics is headed for because I don't understand their decisions and, now, their choices of options have been much reduced. Still, I like their scopes very much - well, what's left of them - but I don't think that I will buy another one if they are not offering the ERGO and bigger Objective lenses as options.
I have one but i love my SN-3. Hopefully they bring it back. I haven't kept up with USO in some time but i notice that i don't see many threads on them as of late. Though i've seen a decent bit of people running them in some of the big matches that have been filmed. Which is good.
