Would vortex put a set of uncapped turrets on the new gen 2 razor 1-6? I'll call and ask tomorrow but thought I'd ask here incase I don't get a chance tomorrow

Lol I guess I had that coming. My ignorance got the best of me....I was assuming the caps were there because the clicks weren't as defined as with an uncapped turret. Which would make them spin too easily. I know I shouldn't assume things
You might be surprised and actually want to use the caps. I didn't think I would like them but I use them on my SWFA SS HD 1-6x24mm. SWFA was smart in making the scope with a set of rings/thread covers, if you want to go topless, but I never use them.
The only time I use the knobs on my Vortex 1-6 is to zero it at 200. After that the JM-1 reticle is used for holds and is fast and accurate. Like Sawman said though just pop the caps off and you are good to go.
If you want to mail me your scope, and 20 bucks Ill throw your caps away, and ship it right back. Turn around time is very fast this time of year.
