Shot timers

We have been using the pocket pro timers at our matches, and they work really well. However, with suppressed rifles, you have to get the timer very close to pick up the shots. For many of the suppressed rifles, you can put the timer on delay and have it waiting near where the shooter's muzzle will be...then it picks up suppressed rifles fine. Otherwise, if you hold the timer, it has to be pointing directely at the muzzle from about 2-3 feet behind the shooter.

If you buy from Brownell's, the dealer cost for the timer is burried in the item description. It looks like code, but if you take a look, you will be able to figure out the dealer cost. If you are running matches, it would be worth asking Brownell's if they will give you dealer cost for the timers.
