new guy in Ct

Greetings all,
Been lurking a while and thought that it was time to sign up and say hi. Just relocated to Ct from Nv (yeah, I don't fully understand it either) and since my other shooting hobbies are now all but dead to me, I thought that I'd build my first real bolt rifle and try my hand at marksmanship. I just received my Mcree Rem 700 chassis and will be building off of that.
I'll apologize in advance for any newbie questions over the next few months...

I am in Bethel. As for the drinking? I've had that covered since the day that moving back east became a definite...
Yes, shooting here blows. After 5 years of living in "Free America", coming back here and having to ask permission to exercises my Constitutionally Guaranteed Rights blows.
