whats the deal with viperskins?

I loved my AICS skins until I went to a match and shot the Viper Skins. It just felt better to me and for the peanuts they charge I got a set. I have the skins painted mostly green with browns and the TH painted mostly brown. This matches the season in my AO so I just swap out when I feel like it. Takes 5 min and changes things up a bit. The other thing I like about the Viper Skins is rail and flush cup attachments. When I run my NVS clip on I like having the rail attachment points and I love the flush cups. When I change back to the TH I have to use my HK sling. I also use the larger grip and need to wrap some mcnett on the TH to get the same effect. SO it is actually more then the "I'm cool factor" but if the Viper Skins were $300 option I wouldn't bother.

The skins for as simple as they are transform it into a different and more comfortable gun to shoot...IMO.

This....although I don't have VS, I do have the AI pistol grip sides. To me it's night and day difference. I can grab the rifle the way it was meant to be and have my finger correctly placed on the trigger. It's well worth the money!

Has anyone had experience with the V2 skins? I'm wondering if there is a preference of the V2 vs the original when using a sand sock.

Yeah, I got both rear pieces when I ordered mine. I played with each and ended up with the V2 on my butt stock, it is a good improvement on the V1, which is saying a lot as the V1 was/is fine as is.
