From what I have read about some testing it is suppose to be about .06fps per degree. But it is ball powder so I am going with ar comp.

I have pierced primers with Alliant 2000MR, but it was hot... so hot that it hurt to touch my ammo. I think I worked the load up in 80 degree temps and shot it in 115 degree temps with no shade.
Still, I had no chrony to document the temperature dependence of velocity. But honestly, I was blowing primers on FGMM that day.

My varget loads are spot on hot or cold, pp gives very nice speed, ~100-150+ varget but temp moves it around, .7-.8fps/deg

I went from 2680 with 44.5 varget to 2775 with 48 grains of PP 2000 MR running a 175 SMK out of a 22" Bartlein on a GAP Crusader. Am pushing then 185 juggernaut 2832 fps with lapua brass and 46.7 grains of a custom with a 28" bartlein. Both are tack drivers. And like someone said... It's not as temp sensitive as one would expect being a ball powder. It's probably as stable as any EXTREME powder out there. I've got a log book at my Hunting lodge with my temp swing changes in velocity and it is VERY mild swings. As a matter of fact h4350 in my 6.5 creedmor has lost more fps in 30 degree temps than 2000 MR. Both loaded in 60-70 degree weather.
I love this stuff. I also run 4000 MR with 208 amaxs in my .300 win mag and WOW! 3,000 fps from a 26" bbl. (700 5R Milspec) It is just like its little brother, will push the heavies SUPER fast. I've never seen anything like it

I am using 40 grns of pp 2000mr in a 243 fac savage 24 in barrell pushing 95 grn berger vld's at 3120 fps in norma brass and cci br primers.
I guess the guys that say it isn't temp sensitive don't live in the south were summer temps can get to 100 with a humidity in the 90's. I put together a load for my 308 with SMK 155's and 2000mr this spring. Temp was hi 60's. I get 1/2 moa groups at 300 yds. Switch to summer, temp low 90's exact same load, same gun, same everything but the temp. My groups went from 1.3" at 300 yds to 6" or more. And I was seeing flattened primers. I guess you could put together a winter and summer loads but I'm too lazy for that. I went back to IMR8208.
