My brother has a pre 64 Winchester model 94.
After you fire 4 or 5 rounds. It won't eject brass until cools down for about 3 or 4 second. Then it works
Is that normal or is something wrong. I told him I would ask he is worried something is wrong with his rifle.

When you say it doesn't eject brass, is it because it doesn't extract the brass from the chamber, or is the case getting extracted but it isn't flipping out of the receiver?

Well my guess is that it needs a new extractor or extractor adjustment. Probably when the chamber starts to heat up the brass of the fired case is sticking and your worn extractor won't pull it out? If the brass is being extracted but won't eject then I'm no help because I've never seen one with a worn/missing ejector work until it was replaced/repaired. So if it ejects until things warm up and then will extract but not eject I'm no help!

I was thinking that if it could extract but not eject after warming up that maybe the bolt is expanding when it warms up and binding so that it can't move all the way back?
