Gunsmithing ER Shaw 10/22 Barrel

I just purchased a barrel from Shooters Discount for my ruger.
ER Shaw 10/22 16.5in Stainless Fluted Barrel 22LR - ERS-SD1022015

On inspection - the rifling are very faint and hardly seen them. This normal?

Doesn't the 10/.22 barrel simply slip fit into the receiver? Secured by the V-Block and two cap screws.

I don't believe they are threaded at all.

It's a slip fit. Just make sure you time the extractor slot right.

Correct. Am referring to the internal threads.
Just pulled the original and they appear similar. Was expecting more course internal threads

Thats a new one...never heard a rifling referred to as threaded.

my bad.. yes rifling. was referring to the 1:16 rifling (twist rate)...

22rf are never a really pronounced rifling. You'll be fine

22LR is normally very soft lead bullets, even when copper jacketed they are still pretty soft. Because of the soft compound, they grip the lands and groves and conform very well with minimal cuts in the barrel.
