figured this might be the right place for this question. would a savage 338 lapua action be different (longer wider etc) than a standard savage long action? reason why I'm asking is I'm looking into an XLR chassis. thanks y'all

haha seriously though beautiful rig my friend! i guess that answers my question! how do you like it? any noticeable difference as far as accuracy goes? heard that sometimes you can eek out a bit smaller groups with a chassis.

I actually just got it set up last week and haven't been able to get any rounds through it. I really like the feel. Much better than the factory chassis. I plan on going to the range next weekend so I'll let you know how she does then.
Yeah I'm not a fan of the extremely long and heavy brake that came on it. The good news is it will be coming off in a few weeks when my AAC Titan TI gets here!
