I will continue to maintain my position that Osage Orange (Bois d' arc) is some of the most durable wood in the world. It is said to be the highest BTU producing wood in North America. So even the scraps, left over from a project, have use as fuel in the wood burning stove.

I can’t attest to its strength or durability, but it will burn the doors off a stove. We planted a Hedge (Osage Orange) in our yard because I can. The deer don’t mess with that thorny bastard.

We build barbed wire fences with posts made from the limbs down here. You better put a staple in it when it's green, because after it dries it's like iron and you won't do it. The posts never rot, they outlast treated posts by a long shot.

Her scumbag daddy is the Senate Minority Leader... Chuck Schumer. How do you think such an ugly, fat un-funny twat managed to get herself into the limelight? She'll never be poor. Because daddy... is a multi-millionaire... thanks to all the good graft and corruption that goes along with being a scum-weasel New Yawk Democrat Senator who gets big checks every day for selling his votes to leftist craphats.

Sorry for the rant. But that little lard-bucket will never be poor. Daddy got himself voted to riches.

Dick’s Sporting Goods Hired Three Gun Control Lobbyists In April

The sporting goods store, under fire for refusing to sell rifles to anyone under the age of 21, is now officially lobbying Congress for gun control, according to federal lobbying activity records.

May 2, 2018 By Sean Davis

Dick’s Sporting Goods, which announced in February it would no longer sell rifles to anyone under the age of 21, hired three Beltway lobbyists to lobby Congress for gun control, according to federal records reviewed by The Federalist.
The lobbying records show Dick’s hired two Democrats and one Republican from Glover Park Group, a DC-based government affairs firm, for “[l]obbying related to gun control.” No other policy issues were listed in the disclosure form filed by the firm. The disclosure forms show Dick’s pro-gun control lobbying effort began official on April 27, 2018. The official registration form noting Dick’s retention of Glover to push for gun control was filed on Monday morning

The one that was struck doesn't appear to have been engraved by rifling.

Also looks like it has a hollow tip?

That said, it could easily have been hit while in a belt or a magazine, driven out of the case... and there it is. The tip... rotted away? There is more than one explanation for no rifling and a hollow point. Could also be a total fake. Not hard to do. Looks like it's in a museum display, though. So probably real.

Though the firing at Gallipoli was nothing like at, say, Gettysburg where a lot of fused bullets were found. Or the Somme. It was a nasty campaign with lots of dead... and Anzac Beach was a killing field. But the 'volume' of fire at Gallipoli wasn't what occurred in some places. In many cases, in the early stages of the landings, the Turks didn't even have weapons. Those that did... had not been issued ammo as their commanders did not trust them. Only the arrival of Kamal Attaturk, the brilliant German-trained commander on the Ottoman side... did the Turks really get leadership and weapons. Much of the rest... was British War Cabinet and execution errors. Stupid campaign that should never have happened, despite the bravery of the boots on the ground.

Someone is going to have to revise the definition of "enormous".

Officers with the New York Police Department’s 105th Precinct in Queens seized a table full of guns and an “enormous” amount of ammunition from an area man described by a neighbor as a collector.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown announced Friday that Keith Harvey, 44, was arrested and charged with over 40 weapons violations, mostly for criminal possession. Following a search warrant of his home, authorities seized cash, 11 rifles, three shotguns, a Crosman air rifle, a crossbow, a “banana ammo clip containing 25 caliber rounds,” and some 13,000 rounds of ammunition.

“The defendant is accused of stockpiling an arsenal of deadly weapons in his home along with an enormous amount of ammunition,” Brown said. “Illegal firearms pose an extreme risk to the public and in Queens County creating your own warehouse of lethal shotguns and rifles will not be tolerated.”

Queens County. Coincidence or do we need to fight the monarchy again?

300 Km/ hour on a bike... is that fast enough???

And got passed, quickly, by a four door wagon! It looks like the bike is limited to 299 KMH. And is that a turbo I hear?

152 MPH(300 KPH=186.4 MPH) indicated on a CBR600 is my top speed on a bike. 166 MPH indicated in my 12' Corvette GS is my top speed in any car.

Things get squirrelly in both around 150 MPH. Car less so but shit gets very real at 200. There's a HUGE difference between 199 vs. 200. Or so I've been told.

OMG- they stole his EBT benefits debit card!!!!

Just keeping it real. Another day in any major inner city let alone Queens. But the larger question is how are shoes worth 2k? These things cure cancer?

Reminds me of a story on the evening news here in Detroit. Guy gets robbed of his expensive glasses/frames. Worth if I remember a couple of hundred to 1k? He kept saying how is he supposed to feed his kids if he can't see well enough to go to work? How about you use that money for your kids rather than wearing some transparent eye bling you moron.

That kid was stupid for buying $2k shoes, and I'll only assume dumb enough to post it on social media. Got what was coming to him in da hood.

Cops don’t catch the smart criminals... my guess it that Instagram can tell the police who was watching him post about his collector Jordan’s

The thing you forget- they don’t care about the legal system
They really are not bothered by court dates, court appointed attorneys and 5 days served in county

new in the box classic Jordan’s might be worth 2k

Street worn Jordan’s are used shoes. Value is probably less than a felony theft charge. No punching so plea that down to petty theft- 45 days in county - no violent

Non violent get released 1st due to over crowding

So out within 1 week.

I think that’s just a standard zx10 or an h2. I’ve ridden a number of bmw s1000rr’s and they all go quickly to rev limit in 6th and indicate 199 (which as actually more like 300k/186mph) with no drama. Stable as can be. My corvette isn’t nearly as stable when going 195, but that’s due to the alignment. Even with a good alignment, the bike is far easier.
