01 7.3 6 speed 103k just broken in manual everything. Rubber floors. Eaton diff. 2in lift in the front. 06 seats front and back.

HeHeHe... here too: '99 Forester. With lots of 'custom' body wrinkles, and snow tires for these WI winters.
My Fishing Truck. 2” all the way around w/Fox’s. Custom Tuned (Diablew). Bullet Liner by MJR Custom Coatings w/undercoating and rust proofing touched up twice a year. Corsa Sport exhaust. 285/70R17 Duratracs. It’s really a snow buggy for steelhead fishing all winter, but I do get on her pretty good...

Before the OME lift and tires just a hair under 25. After it’s about 21.5. I did a weird progression. Had a 7.3 F250, got about 18. Then had a kid so got the 6.0 Excursion, got almost 19. Then I got divorced and bought a Liberty CRD got about 26 mpg, but less space and part for the vm 2.8 were getting hard to find. And now the wk, plenty of room and the parts are available. And it’s good for power, running the Gee hot tune. I’d rather still have the excursion or the F250 honestly. I’m wanting a camper, Jeep will tow an ultralight camper, but meh.

Fuck no it ain’t junk!!! I have a 97 with a 3” lift and 31”s! It’s a near perfect shooting rig! I get 17mpg at 80mph and the best feature besides the PERFECT hood angle and height is it’s paid for!
This guy was selling this truck. I asked him what he wanted: bed busted off the frame, 4WD transfer broke, 210,000mi, but a strong well running engine, $400. I told him I would take it and would return the following morning with cash. We shook hands.
When I got there the next morning, cash in hand, he said he had sold it to someone else.

Drawing as little attention to yourself is highly underrated, that is the ideal rig to do what you need to do largely unnoticed.

I paid 1400 for my red Cherokee. They are pretty tough actually. Solid axles, inline 6 detuned and a decent tranny. Hard to beat for value when a Wrangler is selling for 4 times as much and has less room in it.

Exactly. One of these days I’m gunna put in a 5 speed manual and new paint with a posi rear. That’s about it.
I’m kinda particular about our nice/newer vehicles, ie a fussy prick. So, I keep one of these around at all times. Handy for hunting, timber work, teaching young folks to drive, etc... Not a thing you can do to hurt it. Comes complete with faded paint, rust, hail damage, and a tired 318.
This is my tactical rig (meaning I drive my guns and ammo to my range ), my dog hauler, my camping rig, my get the hell out of my way rig, my Paddle board rig, my motorcycle hauler rig, my get up my 23 percent grade in the winter rig, my pull dumb asses with no winter tires or studs out the dig rig, my exploring the logging roads rig. I have been places in this Bronco that most people would not believe. I have had a few people praying while riding in it and cussing at me a minute later.
Would not sale this rig period. Not new, not fancy but hell I couldn't impress anyone if I tried anyway, might as well drive what I like.
