Sorry About California buying every mag in the country

Invite new Gun owners to the range in 2021
Minuteman
So my guess is every magazine that holds more than 10 rounds was purchased between 5 pm Friday and now by folks in California.

I want to say CA banned new 10+ round magazines in 1999/2000

The gun forums are a buzz and it seems like California’s non voting gun owners have purchased every mag in the states

So if you see stock Glock mags for $35& up
Magpul AR mags for $25 and up

I simply would like apologize as someone who lives out west

I was thinking the same thing when I saw the story, there probably isn't a 30 round Pmag to be found, anywhere. Thankfully I bought a dozen of them awhile back.

Buy baby buy....before the 9th circuit gets involved.

In all honesty, Trump's greatest legacy will be his changes to the courts. It isn't as far as I would have wanted but it will certainly help. Especially when one considers where we would be if the hideous cunt HRC got in.

Need RBG to die or to at least uncover the fact that she is incompetent. I heard Trump said he is already looking for replacements. Maybe RBG's head will explode

The senate is slow walking a bunch of his court apptmnts.

The establishment just be establishing.

and of course RBG could be on the heart lung machine indefinitely.

No shit I have about 25 Pmags and about 25 AK mags, I don't have an AK or an AR at the moment— I don't plan on ever owning another AK in fact. Still keeping the mags, though. Any run of the mill jackass can hammer out a rifle in his apocalyptic garage, but a good feeding magazine is more difficult and just as vital in my opinion.

9th circuit all ready up held the stay on the ban 2 years ago, and the court has become even more conservative since Trumps Win.

The rest of us should already have all the standard capacity magazines we need or want.
So I'd suggest the proper thing to do is step back and let those in CA buy up every regular capacity magazine they can across the entire country just in case. Then when the buying frenzy is done, if the rest of us happen to want a few more cases of magazines, we can order them in our own good time.

you can always use them for trade.............worth their weight in gold.

So that's why I saw an ad for a $40 Glock 17 mag. I thought that isn't much of a deal, now I know why. Poor fuckers are gonna get hosed on mags now. My wife keeps wanting us to take a trip to CA, I keep refusing to go.

You don't have an AR? They are like $5 at PSA

Heathen

I've penciled in an RRA A2 specifically for having a 556 AR15 rifle pattern in the house and I'm on the brink of a Ghetto Blaster in 300 at the moment, mostly just configuring the budget around suppressors and tac light/laser at this point. PSA is fine, they just don't make the shit I want.

I was smart and stocked up plenty years ago. Never cared who saw what at the range so it doesn't affect me. Glad my fellow CA citizens can get stock up though.

practical common calibers in practical rifle shooting is important. stick with 223 and 308,,, get a 18inch 308 for pragmatic purposes. have two war calibers one or two sprcialty calibers for bolt guns and keep it simple... no need to go with anything else

Stand your ground. It cost me extra to go to Disney World when my daughter was little but it was worth it. California has nothing to offer me.

I like the HK91 pattern for a 308 simply because it'll take a beating all day, and cycles suppressed supers and subs without dicking around with a buffer and shit. Not the best for precision or DIY compared to AR10, but mags are cheap as tomatoes in the summer time.

I had an HK91 and it was a great gun. Ate anything but was murder on brass. I still have a specialty HK SR9TC. Only imported a couple of hundred into the US. It is damn accurate if memory serves. Don’t shoot it much at all anymore.

I remember buying some shitty mags. Glock 'rebuild' mags with no steel in them. USA Mag (or some similar name) alum AR mags that wouldn't feed for shit and were so soft it was about a waste to try to adjust them. I believe both were mail ordered (real mail) from Shotgun News.

Being an older guy... I recall buying Glock Gen 1 mags as they were cheaper....

Drop free Glock mags use to be $100/ used
G19/23 were $135

I recall seeing AR mags with some feed lip cracks being $50

The Federal 1994 bill made things crazy

CTD had Magpul mags for $100 apiece during the Obammy scare after Sandy Hook. I saw a guy buy an AR for $700 from Academy, then take it to the pawn shop and sell it for $2000, then they would turn around and sell it for $3000. I was LMAO the whole time.

I started out as an idealist. Grew up and turned into a pragmatist. Headed back to sq one and starting to say what's right is right and damn the consequences.
