He wouldn’t have thought it was funny if he hit someone in the apartments in the background. I was waiting for that pistol to go off and hit him in the twins when he tucked in the wasteband.
Around age 21 guys start getting enough worldly wisdom to sniff out the recruiters' bullshit.
About a dozen guys in my airborne class thought they were going to learn to fly helicopters. You would think that sometime during basic they would have looked at the big metal towers in the middle of Ft Benning and asked, "what are those for?"
