7.62 firearms feedback

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I bought the following parts from
7.62 mm FIREARMS.
EXTRACTOR.
EXTRACTOR SPRING AND PIN
EJECTOR AND SPRING.
When I did a function test with 7.62 dummie rounds. The extractor
started peeling. The ejector had hardly any spring tension and began to wear quickly.I didnt fire ammo through my LRB m14.
I took the parts out of the bolt and contacted chris at 7.62MM
Firearms. He told me to return them.I did return the parts.I received a phone call from chris at 7.62MM FIREARMS.He asked me why I him back used parts. When I told him they were his parts
he sceams in the phone NEGATIVE,NEGATIVE,evertime I tried
to talk.I was called a F*CKING LIAR.and I wasnt getting Sh*t
back from him.I have filed a despute with my credit card company. This guy is a hot head.dont buy there stuff.

Re: AVOID 7.62MM FIREARMS

I just ran across their ad on AR15.com - never heard of them before until I checked out their website. First attempt no-good.....anyone else have feedback?

Re: AVOID 7.62MM FIREARMS

They're getting more negative feedback then a new company could be expected to survive. I hope they make it right by you.

This rifle platform is expensive. The lower cost end is dominated by SA. They will never compete with SA's cost or warrenty. If they arent selling high quality pieces, with high quality customer service (like LRB,SEI,Sadlak etc.) I wouldnt expect them to be around very long.

Their only hope imo is to take a kneeling position and make their new angry customers happy until they can get their act together. Word of mouth is all they have at the moment, and it aint looking good for them.

SparrowhawkM14.com is where you should go, good people, solid product and service. It was a furtherance of Switch's post.

Re: AVOID 7.62MM FIREARMS

Thanks for posting the Picture's of the USED PARTS you returned to 7.62mm Firearms and tried to pass off as deffective. As it has been stated on www.m14tfl.com and www.ar15.com by the moderators who reveiwed the evidence and agreed with us. The parts that you returned could not have been abused with just simple fuction test. (Hand cycling does not produce carbon build up on parts.)

7.62mm Firearms Parts are 100% made in Ohio. We stand behind our products and take care of any problems our customers might have with our products.

Don't drink the kool-laid this thread is asking you to try.

Could you link us to the threads? I think its safe to say that most of us don't look/follow either of the aforementioned sites and it would be interesting and compelling to your case if you provided us with links to those threads.

Here is the link for this issue. http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=7&f=109&t=761737
The other thread on www.m14tfl.com was removed by Hawk the moderator.

Not sure why the pics were removed from this site.

For Privatepyle, I agree about bad service, but don't believe everything you hear.

For benchmstr, Not sure about the other shooting forums. If it is on this issue it was started by THE SENTINEL.

We have had other issues arise and they have been solved with everyone being happy in the end. Our goal is Happy customers.

But when someone steals from you and then bashes you for it... Really. I have spent more time defending the statements of THE SENTINEL then his $41.65 order was worth, but on the other hand we have gotten Great advertising and new customers from this.

We work hard at making parts for the M14 and AR15 world. We are lucky to get to do what we love.

Re: AVOID 7.62MM FIREARMS

Well, I spent some time reading the other forum and it looks like THE SENTINEL/MENACE did in-fact return old parts and tried to con 7.62firearms by passing them off as defective, the pics are very obvious. The fact that MENACE removed his pics from this forum and deleted his posts on the other forum all together just buttresses his guilt.

In the court of public opinion, I'd say 7.62Firearms has put considerable time and effort into defending themselves from a con-artist.

Re: AVOID 7.62MM FIREARMS

Wow that sucks. I (and I think most) try to side with the little guy (average Joe) whenever these things arise. It seems easier to accept that some upstart company might screw someone to make a buck, rather than someone having the balls to just fabricate something like this, especially over so small an amount of money.

Needless to say, that just the accusation hurts this new business. If it is indeed false, I hope they can recover. I am clearly an m14 fan (hardcore), and the more manufacturers (rifles and parts) the merrier. They are not as popular on this site as the ar types, but imo more makers means lower costs, which means more new fans.
