Cause we all know the BATF and FBI are saints??? Sure people follow orders....but to what extent? Their own professional career will end? Or their career will blossom?

Which would you choose?? Your career or your conscience??? How many agents left their jobs cause of what happened?? How many stayed to enforce their own vengeance on targets of their respective agency??

God knows we are seeing in these modern days there seems to be PLENTY of federal agents staying quiet.....................go figure.

Federal Agents weren't the only ones killed in the blast. Remember there was also a day care center on the premises.

Hitler enjoyed painting should we hate art?

Art in general? Of Course, not! Hitler's specific works? Wouldn't ever touch them. Not even as an investment.

This will be my last post on this sub-thread. Lash is right. We need to get back on topic. If you want to b**ch slap me any further, PM me or start a new thread.

Man I sure am glad Hitler was a vegetarian no way I couldn’t eat meat…..🤷‍♂️

This particular killer is responsible for 168 deaths in a mass murder incident (19 of which were children). He is *not* the "every day" killer who quotes Bible versus upon their death. He quoted something not as well known as the Bible. Apparently, it meant more to him than any Bible verse. And, as a result of the above, that particular poem is "tainted" for me, to an extent.

I wish McVeigh hadn't used it... I actually like the poem and believe in it's meaning. But I cannot escape the fact that McVeigh did select it as his final statement. And it will always have that taint for me. It could never fully "motivate" me in the OP's context.

Did you swear off mint chocolate chip ice cream as well?

And remember there was how many kids killed at waco, that were burned alive.....

Doc

And your point is? Plenty of killers have supposedly found belief in prison and quote the bible on the way out.

Are we to stop quoting the bible based on the fact some murderer quoted a passage in his last message?
Ok, first off..he wasn’t some backwoods illiterate redneck like most would have you believe..the man was intelligent and calculating and as bad as it’ll make me look..very goal oriented.

I always thought he was some backwoods slack jawed redneck until I saw the Netflix documentary on him that included a bunch of his police interviews…it truly surprised me! I deal with murderers and the like everyday…his demeanor and intellect were rare.

the man didn’t gain his inspiration in prison..he was solid in whatever beliefs he had before he entered.

highly recommend you watch the documentary

Started the rebuild of my Buddy's '64 Corvette B/Production Corvette that got torn up at the Charlotte Roval. Finally got a proper '64 frame. It's been a race car since '65 and he wanted to keep it as original as possible. Good thing I've built a few of these before GT-1 and know how to cheat and still look stock.

A random thought just occurred to me...

What would each of us do if we're scrolling the MPT, minding our own business, just ignorant bliss. Then you look at a picture and say, " that's my sister!" or "thats my WIFE" or the ever dreaded "THAT'S MY MOM!"

It could happen (one was close enough, I looked twice because I thought it could have been my sister-in-law)
