been going to alefests since they were small enough to have at the breweries, but i am still not a snob. i don't care what others drink or think.

No kidding, you're in Little Rock? I just moved out of LR last year but I'm only an hour and a half away. We should meet up and do some shooting and beers afterward some time.I'm a Hop Head! The Hoppier the better! I do like a good smooth barrel aged Stout this time of year. I eat lunch at one of the breweries in Little Rock at least once a week. Before Covid the Wife and I would take several beercations a year. Sometimes just a long weekend at some semi-local place and sometimes a week at places further away. We've been to GABF in Denver several times. We're planning a New England trip for next year. And yes, I have a dedicated beer fridge in the garage!
Man, you are making me jealous with the Tree House Brewing beers! Our distributors can't get that down here in Arkansas.
90 minute is not that bad. Not a huge IPA fan, but 90 minute's one of those I like. The 120 on the other hand, I crave!!! Haven't had it in 10+ years.I really like Dogfish Head 90 minute but can't find it in Southaven Mississippi.
Does it taste like dick? Either way you answer, we know you know.![]()
Everybody knows the best beers are made with rice by European corporations. Fuck that locally produced, small batch garbage.
Try the pride edition. It's fantastic and the aluminum bottles are collectible!
Haven't tried the 120 yet but will give it a shot. Didn't know IPA's had been around for ten years, just started drinking them in the last couple years.90 minute is not that bad. If you like the Little Sumpin' , try this one.
much longer than that, but perhaps mostly in certain areas. one of my favorites, pliny the elder, has been around for over 20 years.Haven't tried the 120 yet but will give it a shot. Didn't know IPA's had been around for ten years, just started drinking them in the last couple years.
if you like those, doubles and triples, you would probably like pliny the elder, or especially pliny the younger, but the younger is only sold on tap at some places (one of which i was blessed to frequent). this little deli in orange supported the microbrewery scene from the beginning, and they have rewarded him by always treating him like they did when they were struggling.I'm not an IPA aficionado, but here are two I tried recently that I would buy again.

Cans are for girls.I had this discussion with the lady that manages the bar at my "hang out." She knows I prefer bottled over cans, but then showed me some study that shows how any light getting into beer almost immediately starts it going bad. Which is why clear and green bottles go skunky quickly and brown does not - less UV. That said, I still think brown bottle tastes better than canned. Granted, most of my high end beer is Belgian so it's usually a brown bottle and in the case of Delirium, it's got a plastic wrap around it too.
More like your lady's yeasty snatch.Does it taste like dick? Either way you answer, we know you know.
manbuns started after 2010, and 15 years after the first IPAs made by micros and home brewers.Porters or Stouts. Founders Breakfast Stout is a nice one. Probably one of my favorites. None of that manbun IPA stuff.
I can't get this here in TX, but had some in Savannah, GA and it was really good.View attachment 7752358
Men who drink IPAs typically wear skinny jeans with their manbuns while out with their boyfriends.Same “men” who dump IPA out.
Or ice their whisky.
In between soy lattes and veggie quiche most likely

Dragons Milk will kick your ass. Delicious, but more than one and you better not plan on driving or operating heavy equipment..One of my favorite dark beers

This flavor isn't always available, but worth a try if you like odd beer combinations.

Stop by your local mosque or synagogue and ask. While you’re at the mosque, ask what kind of beer they drink, too.Who the fuck doesn’t eat bacon?
How unfortunate, Bud is just a pilsner, a mediocre one at that.View attachment 7751925
There is only one beer in this world unless you like drinking the various horse piss on the market.
Rumor in the brewing industry was that brewing for Bud was a coveted position, from a technical standpoint. The flavor profile permits no errors, and it is brewed on such a massive scale, so any flaws that ship out will be massive as well. How unfortunate, Bud is just a pilsner, a mediocre one at that.
Americans have been duped into thinking they are "king" or the "champagne" of beer. Sorry, not sorry.
Prolly puts ketchup on his box mac n cheese and eats hotdogs boiled, white bun, only ketchup.Men who drink IPAs typically wear skinny jeans with their manbuns while out with their boyfriends.

When I drink real beer , seem to favor either Newcastle (foreign) or my
favorite (domestic) is Fat Tire out of Colorado. While on 3 different West-Pacs i
Drank a zillion San Miguel’s in da Philippines...aka : Worlds most natural laxative.
Like the big strong Kingfishers from India too.![]()
Last time I drank Miller lite, I pissed in my sock drawer for some reasonYears ago New Belgium changed the recipe for Fat Tire and it wasnt the same. was way better before to me. I know a couple home brewer guys who make batches of the old and its pretty darn tasty.
When FT was pretty new, I liked it. Of course I was in Nebraska and was pretty happy with a Sam Adams Boston Lager or a Guinness at the time, but was just 21. Oh, and 1554 from new Belgium was and is still a darn tasty one!
Always loved the full flavors more than the light beer.
Though I have been known to kill a case of Miller Lite. 24 cans. 24 hrs in a day. Coincidence?? I think not!!!
Ok I’m gonna be honest here…. I don’t mind a boiled hot dog…. But no ketchup.Prolly puts ketchup on his box mac n cheese and eats hotdogs boiled, white bun, only ketchup.
I've been to both. They're alright. Lots of other little microbreweries popping up everywhere, too.Ever tried Diamond Bear in NLR ? Lost 40 Brewing in LR has some tasty brews!
