    AXSR Action screws

Always a fight with any sort of service on an AI. I had a tough time with Mile High last time something broke.

    Current Surgeon vs AI Action

Vivacious Stallion posted about first hand experience of an AXSR going down in a match. AI failures happen, and they are certainly not all in a "trust me, it happens a lot" scenario. With that said, AI's are perfectly fine rifles but they aren't markedly better in harsh conditions than a 700...

How Relevant is the Nightforce NX8 4-32?

I find the glass in my NX8 4-32 to equal if not beat the glass in my ATACR 7-35. Could be a really good NX8 against a mediocre ATACR, I don't have the sample size to say.

    AXSR action bolts issue

Hope it gets fixed without any issues. Sounds like a machining or hardware error. Have to wonder how many other rifles were affected.

    AR Positional POI Shift Test

4 pages later and someone has finally acknowledged that positions change impact, I'm glad we finally made it there. Kudos to you for doing the testing to prove this to yourself and documenting it. The mechanics of a rifle firing have been documented for a long time; the rifle starts recoiling...

    Ridgeline Defense RD-15 LPR

They copied KACs homework but missed the parts you mentioned. Probably works just fine, but then again so would a traditional set screw gas block. 5.56 guns are not temperamental in terms of gassing, a sealed system is far more significant (IMO) when you step up to large frame.

    The "New" Barrett MRAD Thread!!!!!!

Dewey makes the Barrett bore guides. If you ask them they'll make you a 30 cal bore guide, just put it in the notes of the order. I'm not aware of any third-party cans that are compatible with the Barrett brake. Remove the brake, install what you need.

    Craddock RTR

This is where I'm at as well, but I've also paid for the top shelf stuff to discover that doesn't mean you get a half minute barrel with factory ammo. This Craddock has performed nearly as well as any other large frame gas gun I've shot with the exception of a couple Knight's rifles and one...

Berger loaded 130s. They used to load them hotter but were popping primers.

    Craddock RTR

I’ve been happy with it. It’s a relatively lightweight, inexpensive 6.5 creed barrel. My SR25s outshoot it but they are several times more expensive than what it cost to put together this upper. I run it with a KAC PRT suppressor and it’s been extremely reliable.

All 5-shot groups at 100/200 meters. Have a handful of 10-shot groups and they are what you'd expect (about 1.2x the size of the 5-shot groups). Hornady 140 will show promise with one tiny group and then shit the bed. Berger 130's have been extremely consistent and are my go-to. Factory Berger...

AT-XC bolts are not compatible with AT/AW bolts

I went back and looked at the emails and at one point Mile High said "I do not think we have the parts or the permission to fix it.". This was an AT-X that I purchased with the additional folding hardware, which Mile High had installed prior to shipment. It was very frustrating when it came out...

AT-XC bolts are not compatible with AT/AW bolts

Not to dog pile but I had a brand new AT-X show up with a broken stock retaining nipple (the little plastic piece). AINA and Mile High both told me to talk to the other party, a month later and finally Mile High got me the part I needed but made it sound like they were doing me a favor by...

For the Love of God, GI Joe and John Wayne.... cleaning and abrasive cleaners

I’ve stored my barrels with a single patch of oil through them for the past 20 years. I have never dry patched prior to shooting. Zero corrosion or damage or even flyers to report.
