    Had Fritz at Black Canyon Customs modify and coat it for me from a spare handle I bought from ARC, after seeing how @JaredCO had his and how it came out. I really like it and wish I could’ve gotten it this way from the start! I definitely see why people love the AI bolt handle form now

    American rifle co CDG 223 ai feeding

    Yeah when it comes to the CDG 223 and flat breach barrels you need to run the bolt with effort, the AI being even more finicky. Even my Long Action 223 runs fine if I run the bolt with a little gusto, granted I’m single feeding it

    Even in the 223 size cases it seems to feed fine as long as you run the bolt fast, at least mine does…

    I’ve got one in a long action, and aside from having to single feed it runs fine as long as you run the bolt with a little authority
