Started collecting a few weapons in November 2007. Know what I mean bro? Until that time I never really thought about it. Now wife and I have CCLs and shoot often as we can. 380, several 9s, AR15, shotgun, several 22s, and .38, 7mm 08.
We live in Florida and I hunt some, not much. I fish a lot.
Last September I was diagnosed with MM cancer. That is Multiple Myeloma. It is in my blood and bones. I had 18 clear places where my ribs could bee seen that they were or had been broken. Anyway, I haven't been allowed to work since then. I am scheduled for a transplant toward the end of July. There is no cure for MM but it can be controlled in many cases. I have a lot of bone pain and fatigue that wear me out. I hope to go back to work in about a year. I work for a large telecommunications company servicing the equipment at the bottom of the cell towers. After they get the cancer under control they can start treating the bone condition. It will take 6 months to a year for my immune system to recover after the transplant.
I belong to several fishing and gun forums and try to learn what I can from the good guys and ignore the bad guys.
Fishing, shooting,
Joe
