Re: Cleaning Rod Do as you please. But, I was thinking more in the range of the mil. issue steel section rod when advising to wait for the proper cleaning rod. And yes do use a bore guide. my 2 cents- B4beforeM4

Re: How for 100 rds .308 with... I like to do my brass prep work ahead of the time. Tumble it, size it, trim it, clean the primer pocket,hand prime them and put them away untell I have the time to set down at my bench put my powder charge in the scale pan(1-2gr.short) use my powder trickle...- B4beforeM4

Re: Are hand priming tools easier to use? Press sucks. I have been using a Lee hand primer I bought back is the early 90's. For all of my large bore rifle reloads. I like the "feel" that it has setting the primers. You know if it is right when you do it. Plus I do not have to be at my bench...- B4beforeM4
