Best "budget" barrel for 5.56 AR?
Green Mountain barrels are well made and very affordable. There is no reason to even consider WOA or BHW if Green Mountain makes the profile your looking for.- Ballista One

I've thought through this tool enough times to form an opinion on it and it's not the best tool for the job. What prevents the receiver from spinning on the barrel extension when applying torque to the barrel nut?- Ballista One

When possible, you always hold one of the threaded parts and turn the other. The barrel isn't one of the threaded parts. In this case, the receiver and the barrel nut are. Not a good idea. There is a chance you will shear the index pin on the barrel extension. This the reason the Reaction Rod and other tools like it are a bad idea. You always want to fixture one of the parts being joined.- Ballista One

AR 15 - Switched to PRS bolt barely goes forward
Lube it copiously first and then again. Cash money says this solves the problem... Are you letting the bolt group "fly" using the bolt release or charging it by hand?- Ballista One
