Rifle Scopes March Bench Rest 10-60x56 High Master

I'm thinking the buy once cry once idea is the way to go....the wife on the other hand may not... Buy.... then ask for forgiveness latter! I have a brand new Masterpiece arms 6.5 Creedmoor sitting in the safe waiting for a scope, the high master would be a nice fit. Thanks for all the feedback.

Rifle Scopes March Bench Rest 10-60x56 High Master

Looking to shoot F-class at some point, fairly new to distance shooting but the more I do it the more I enjoy it! Price is always a concern but I completely understand that quality optics don't come cheap. The 5 year warranty gives me pause...but the low volume business model probably makes...

Rifle Scopes March Bench Rest 10-60x56 High Master

I don't see much discussion of the March brand, anyone have experience with it good or bad? Having to ship a defective scope out of the country would be a negative for sure but the above mentioned scope interests me for long distance shooting.

    Masterpeice arms 6.5

HAHA, couldn't help myself, ordered a 6.5 Creedmoor with a comp chassis, Curtis Axiom action when I found it on a website on sale right before I was getting ready to place a order on the MPA site. Saved some cash and a 3 month wait but sacrificed getting the switch lug system. I wasn't...

    Masterpeice arms 6.5

Yes the chassis looks good I'm really leaning this way. I emailed them about the different actions as the prices on the net very form 2600 to 3150 at MP arms site. I was told all the actions are good just depends what you want and the actions have nothing to do with the rifles ability to shoot...

    Masterpeice arms 6.5

Anybody shooting one of these? The price point and 3/8 inch group guaranty make it an interesting choice....among many interesting choices. I have a Ruger precision 308 that I put a LRI barrel on and I love it so that's an option for the 6.5 also but for some reason I keep looking at the...

    Tikka T3 Thread

H'mm thread full of tikka lovers perfect! I have a couple of question you may be able to answer. I just went to Cabelas and looked at a Tikka T3X TAC A1 after reading up on it and was surprised by 2 things. 1, the folding stock had a good 1/8" of play rear of the folding knuckle. 2, I understand...

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

This is exactly what's drawing me into precision shooting. I shoot a fair amount but this is the first bolt rifle I purchased with the intent of seeing just how good I can get....I was.drawn in by the RPR price point even after adding the barrel it's not bad. This is kind of addicting and I'm...

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

I'm thinking along the lines of what will be most beneficial for accuracy. Has anyone tried the LRI break on their LRI barrel? it certainly would look sweet and the mounting system looks intriguing. As to why not both, that's possible my surefire socom break/mount is affective ( new Sig 308TI...

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

Nope, 1 was FGGM 168 the other was Creedmoor brand 168 grain....forgot to add those were 5 shoot groups! I'm looking forward to my next trip with some hand loads, 175 grains FGGM and creedmoor were not as tight. Next decision I need to make is Break versus suppressor ...or neither.

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

After rechecking headspace, scope mount and switching to a bag instead of my Bipod my groups tightened up considerably! Thanks to everyone that pointed me in the right direction. LRI barrel is living up to it's reputation. The wind kicked up so I quit today but the 2 groups below made a believer!

I'll be shooting from bags next trip to eliminate this possibility, good information thanks for the link.

Thanks for the tip, I don't have an issue with my JP 308 or Seekings 6.5 off the same Bipods but Ill give it a try anyway...maybe they will tighten up even more!

    Ruger Precision Rifle Discussion

Happy 4th! I had no keyholing from the Black Hills or Creedmoor brand ammo through my LRI barrel today so that's positive. Still the best group was roughly 1.25" (167 grain Creedmoor brand) most around 2" not what I was hoping for. Head space is good, everything seems in order, shooting off a...
