    Quick question about shooting 1.5 miles on 338 LM

    I shoot a .338 LM and use Hornady 285 Gr ELDM bullets with 89.6 gr powder at 2845 in a 26” barrel. I come up with just about 38 Mils.

    Rifle Scopes still don't understand why less magnification is better

    I will be discussing this tomorrow with some newer shooters. I typically don't go past 20x unless I am looking for more detail. On hot days mirage is the biggest reason to reduce magnification. The field of view is also another advantage to spot your hits or misses to make self correction.

    All the praise of the ZCO line of scopes just may change my mind on saving for the TT. Just another decision one has to deal with in the great hobby we all share.

    I was intrigued when this was announced last year... I think I’m going to get the MSR2 reticle instead. What do you plan on mounting it on? I know I really like the PMII I have now... What are your thoughts about the reticle.
