    Shoot a cherry bomb at night and see if you still think it's a flash hider. Gas comes out of those little holes the same as gas comes out the sides of a more aggressive brake like you showed. If it directs gas anywhere but forward (it does) then it accomplishes what it is designed to do.

    This is opposite of what the cherry bomb is. It is absolutely not a flash hider. It is a brake. As a standalone brake it isn't great. It is a good suppressor mount and is in fact designed to be a sacrificial stainless steel blast baffle to protect the first titanium baffle.

    Q makes good cans. People on this forum hate them, and by them i mean Q's owner. For double duty on a bolt action and 300blk ar, it would be tough to beat a trash panda.

    Wow, thanks for the detailed reply. I'm going to be using it for a vp9, Glock 19, 1911, and possibly vp9sk for now. With the ubl mid ride, does the grip of the pistol hit about at the waistband? That's what I'm trying to end up with.
