That is using the 147 ELD Match.
I think it will be great for hunting (if it is more or less identical to the A MAX), but it's not recommended for it by Hornady. YMMV.
Most hunting specific clothing is shit. The guys that are doing it right (first light, kuiu, sitka) charge you a premium for it.
Buy good outdoor gear from reputable hiking brands in dull colours and you are good to go.
Most smart phones do air pressure & will run your ballistic calculator.
Wind meters are cheap (I bought one with a temperature gauge for 6 USD from aliexpress).
I meant it as an example of the bare minimum required. Of course you don't want to be at the extreme ends of your scope travel, however most scopes have far more than 40MOA.
At the glacial pace of 2650 fps you'll have a drop at 1000m of around 39 MOA.
Take off 20 for your rail, leaves you with 19 MOA of drop to take up with the scope. So a total of 40 MOA adjustment should sort you out close enough.
To add to my grumbling about units, I just tried to go back to 4DOF today.
Who is using Kph for wind (metric units)?
I've only ever seen meters/second for wind when it comes to the shooting world.
