    223 vs 22 arc 16” for ranch rifle

    My favorite Coyote rifle is a 16.5" 223 suppressed. My favorite Coyote bullet out of it is the 53gr Vmax with IMR 8208 xbr pushing it at 3400fps. Smacks the shit out of coyotes and does really well out to 500yds.

    I didn't see pressure signs till 2880fps. Then just slight ejector swipe. bolt lift was fine. this was with the 130tmk

    6.5 CM in a 16.5" PVA Osprey carbon barrel with Varget and peterson srp brass with 130 TMK 2820fps with SD 0f 3 and shooting in the .2s. 135 JLK in the same barrel with varget doing 2750fps.

    Barrels and lead times - worth it?

    This is a 6MM Creedmoor Bartlein LH twist shouldered prefit that Altus @AccuSol-ERN did for me and it was only about a 3 week wait if I remember correctly.

    try some rubber cement in the rings. clean both the scope tube and rings with rubbing alcohol. Apply the rubber cement to the rings. Torque the scope in them and clean up the excess.
