    They have just had too many issues/failures. Honestly I'd recommend just about any other high-end mount. As mentioned above, area 419 probably has the best, while over engineered, mount going right now. That being said, Grey ops, nightforce, seekins, Badger, Vortex PMR, etc also work great.

    If you call Badger I'd be willing to bet they say that they only do the 6 screw(max) out of customers demand, not practicality. I may or may not have done this very thing.

    Its probably the Chinese xtr rings. Nightforce absolutely centers their reticles after QC as does most other reputable companies.

    I have used these scopes, Crane designation SU-300. The illumination is the same tech that is in the rzr 1-10's. It's very, very bright, red dot like brightness.
