I'm a professional mariner by trade but have grown up a life long participant in the shooting sports. The more I have progressed in my career the more security sensitive the industry has become. I get more involved with the security side of things all the time. We are trained in vessel defense and security, yet we are not yet armed vessels domestically anyways.
