ECCO Machine Alternative - HUB Mount

I have an SDN-6 and was waiting to hear back from AAC and they never responded. Just got on Ecco's website and saw this... I am hoping some people chime in with personal experience after getting work done by any of the other companies being discussed.

    Timney HIT issues

So, this is interesting. My issues were both left handed triggers as well. I can't imagine it's related but figure I would mention it.

    Timney HIT issues

So... I just started searching due to Timney Hit trigger issues. I had bought 2 during black Friday and ran one. After 20 rounds the firing pin stopped resetting for lack of an appropriate description. The bolt looked as if it had been fired even after cocking the bolt. It would randomly work...

    Question about 300 PRC magazines

This is the route I am planning on going. Thanks for the advice. I may get the Accurate Mags from KRG since this is my only chassis from them. They are the 3.850".

    Question about 300 PRC magazines

So it looks as if MDT and KRG make the magazines per the dimensions. Would either be sufficient? It appears Accurate Mag makes the KRG magazines.

    Question about 300 PRC magazines

Easing into ELR with a 1-mile build. I have a Defiance action/Bartlein barrel, and it will be going into a KRG Bravo chassis with a lot of weight added. I am trying to choose a magazine and can't seem to find much info. Is it best to just pick one and go? Or do I need to check with the builder...

    .260 Remington

I did look with a scope. The barrel was OK. Before I started load development, I fully cleaned it. There was a mild carbon ring but I took care of that and verified. Definitely running 130's as my next test.

    .260 Remington

So ironically there is a 130 Berger load that the rifle really likes. He was just hoping I could come up with something 140gr that would work well. So, I suppose it's best to just stay with the 130! You are right! Life is too short and all of us could more time shooting vs development or...

    .260 Remington

It's actually a low round count rifle. I don't have the exact number but between 500-600 rounds. He got frustrated trying to load for it so I offered. Now I am feeling the same frustration! I load for many other calibers, this one just has me stumped. I have read quite a bit of this thread and...

    .260 Remington

Question for you. I am trying to help a friend load for his .260. I started working with 140gr bullets. I have now found out that this rifle( GAP build from about 16 years ago) is running a 1:8.25" twist rate. This seems quite slow to me. Do I need to be working with lighter bullets? The reason...

    300 PRC

Thank you for this. I am not used to magnums yet and it just seems like some calibers like smaller bullet weight for faster fps. You statement makes a lot of sense. I am just so impressed with it in my 308 I was just wondering what else this bullet would do well in.

    300 PRC

This may be a dumb question but going to ask. I do not have a 300PRC yet but considering it for long range fun. It seems everyone goes with heavy bullets. I recently tried the 169gr Sierra HPBT CT for my 308. It turned it in to a new rifle and hits at 1000 about as easy as my creed. Just...

    .308 - Sierra 169 SMK loads

I think this thread is where I read about the 169gr and got 200. Just messing around and .030 off the lands of my GAP Crusader, this bullet makes by 308 shoot like 6mm and 6.5 creed. I am absolutely shocked at how impressive it is. I had essentially just had this rifle in the back of the safe...

    Starline 308 SRP question

The way you put it was exactly what the br guy thought! He figured once fire formed it should be fine. He recommended loading to the lands to prevent it, or something along those lines.
