    Any pilots?

    I have fixed and rotary wing ppls but really low hours on both. Work and life always seem to get in the way. I really need to get back into flying but to much of my time and income seems to go into shooting. Maybe I need to learn to shoot from a helicopter so I can combine both lol

    Besides go, no go guages, what else would I need? I guess a barrel wrench but anything else? The gun was picked up today but I sure would like to check and adjust it if need be. Thanks for all the help and advice.

    Savage customer service said not to send any live rounds. I put a detailed description with the rifle. How long was the turnaround for anyone else who sent their rifle back to Savage? If its months then I may just replace the bolt with a PTG bolt and take it to a gunsmith to check the headspace.

    That's really useful info. I'm going to send mine in as I think it needs a new bolt but when I get it back I will take it a local gunsmith for him to check the headspace. Thanks
