    Rifle Scopes Standard barrel ring height help

    I'm mounting a 44mm objective scope to a Rem 700 that has a standard (non-bull) barrel. I tried UTG LE Grade medium rings and they left the scope nearly 3/4 of an inch above the barrel. I looked up the specs on the low rings and they are only .2 inches lower, won't that still leave my scope too...
