Go To No Frills Scope Rings?

Those rings can be a pain in the ass to set up, and if you ever have to remove the scope you have to loosen all the screws, which loosens the scope, and losing your zero and reticle plum.

Zero Stop loses elevation in scope

If you don’t have enough angle in your base to use all the available elevation travel, then not using the zero stop is null. I run several of my scopes with Burris xtr rings and 20-30 moa rails. I use the appropriate inserts to put me near the bottom of the elevation travel where I don’t need...

    IMR4895 H4895 Alternative

I have really good luck in .308 and .223 with Accurate 2460. It’s surprised me to see it’s not to bad in temp stability, plus it meters well. I just drop charge everything.

    I told you so...

Of the three I’ve messed with, I basically had to rebuild the reciprocating system along with taking barrel off and bedding/shimming the BE. New buffer, new spring, new BCGs and they became decent reliable shooters. They are the biggest waste of time and money. By the time you get them diagnosed...

meopta optika 6 vs tract toric

I’ve owned the 4.5-27 meopta and have a 5-30 currently. They’re solid choices in their price ranges, they lack some features but function as designed. They’re a no frills scope with better glass than most in their price range. Tracking has never been an issue with them, the 5-30 sits on a 338...

Is bedding the AR barrel a myth? What's the best way?

Maybe, but I would just use the .001” and some 620 loctite. That’s what I did to the last two I worked on, both shoot great now.

    Questions re: AR-10’s, LR.308’s, Bolts

This their response. Apparently they have a sister company. I assumed they did manufacture them because of how they word their bolt kit add on arm or ally. Definitely misleading a little bit, but it won’t stop me from using them.

    Questions re: AR-10’s, LR.308’s, Bolts

I emailed Toolcraft, I’m intrigued now. I’ll post the response when I get it.

What is the Nightforce of single stage reloading presses ?

I have the co-ax, rock chucker, rebel and Lyman orange crusher. I wanna try the mec marksman but I have to many presses now. If could only have one press, I’d probably pick the rebel or rock chucker and just get high end dies. With my forester and Redding dies I can put out just as good ammo...

    Questions re: AR-10’s, LR.308’s, Bolts

No worries brother. Large frame ARs definitely need some standardization. I wonder if they really use toolcraft and someone got confused. Toolcraft is used by several manufacturers.
