    Not necessarily. The difference only is about a 1/4" - 3/8" , so barley cycling suppressed and not cycling at all unsuppressed = short gas tube 😉

    Your gas tube is to short. The gas port on my 6ARC 20" with rifle length +1 is only .085 and No AGB and runs like a champ If your gas tube is to short it will never run no matter how big your gas port is.

    I got this last year and was trying to reset the windage turret to 0 but there doesn't seem to be a way. Called Leupold and they confirmed my findings. Does anyone that is familiar with this scope have any input? Thanks 😊

    JFYI ; If the tang on a savage isn't floated like the barrel it won't be as accurate as it should be. Even on a accustock the action won't be seated. Also this can cause the action to bind! Many of savages problems could be fixed by just addressing this one issue.

    Lol I had the blue one 1960's model and soon discovered I could wrap my arms around a small port and use it as leverage to pump it up . The results were unbelievable! Must be a carry- over to my bad loading practices?😱
