    My insurance agent drove a pickup that had the crap beaten out of it with hail damage. He just told everybody it was like a golf ball . . . and the dimples made huge improvements in the gas mileage.

    I asked that very question before retirement . . . but I did not tell him why. If I had to guess, that is probably the reason he was the only one that acknowledged (telephone call) receipt of the letter.

    Not applicable upon retirement from the U.S. Military. I still have the two page letter framed and hanging on the wall in my Shop and The Toy Box. It has been hanging there for 24 years.
