    SAC vs Derraco comparators?

    The nice thing about SAC is the headspace comparator is chamfered to fit the shoulder and should give a more consistent measurement from case to case. Also if you buy the SAC funnel the headspace comparators are used in the funnel and fit very nicely on a sized case. Not too tight, but not loose...

    Sorry to hear it, but that's what I've seen. They really should have had a bushing system of some sort.

    My experience with the M series 6.5 CM die is similar to yours. It will size Hornady brass no problem, but when I run Lapua brass through it it is fairly hard to get the mandrel back through it. For thicker wall brass it sizes the brass too much so getting the mandrel to go through it smoothly...

    I chose the ARC CDG action because it is reasonably priced and it has the pivoting bolt handle which gives you additional leverage if you end up with a hard to eject case. It also has a 70 degree throw which makes for a shorter bolt throw. Another feature I like is the adjustable trigger hanger...

    Lometa, TX. Just East of town. It's pretty easy to find on Google Maps when you search for the cut through the trees where the targets are. It's a little confusing until you realize the house near the firing line is gone.
