    Use caution ... its not recommended to seat cast bullets deeper than the neck. The base will expand in the shoulder causing the pressure through the roof ...

    Typically I shoot locally at the cascade field & stream club with steel out to 450 yrds. For learning longer shots we set steel elsewhere ... figured any others would would only enjoy this target to shoot and not take the trouble to hawl it in... no big deal, live and learn :)

    Greetings. A buddy and I set two steel targets up at the uptanum. One at 1000 yds. And one at 800 yds last fall... finally made it out to make some shots at them yesterday.     anybody use RL17 powder for .308...175gr.

    My 308 likes h380 with 168 gr Nosler cc and RL 15 with 175gr smk
