    I have never seen a barrel go from 5.5" to 0.6" I was about to order a new barrel but glad I tried the 77gr SMK. I'll run more through it before sending it off.

    I think it'll work, this target wasn't the best test as the steel was hung out pretty far but it did protect it and didn't let any spalling to get embedded into the plastic. This was 30 rounds at about 30 ish yards.

    Here's my attempt. I'll see if I can blast it with some 5.56 tomorrow. just a scuffed with 400 grit and some rubbing alcohol. The bend is just because. All buttons and ports are still accessible (has anyone actually charged one twice?).

    This thread has been in the back of my mind since it was posted. I've ordered some adhesive steel plates off amazon. My wife's got one on the back of her phone and it sticks on really well. I imagine this will increase the life span. It was $8.99 for 16pc. I'll test single and doubled up.

    The stickers are just under 1". It is a 4-16 ATACR @16x. I don't have any issues seeing the target and felt good about POA throughout. The mount is a 1.54" and I generally have more contact with the stock, so cheekweld could be an issue but I'd assume parallax adjustment would solve that (?)...

    It's a WOA 18" SPR 1-8" rifle length. I had that thought and have a few different types headed my way. I'm used to bolt guns just shooting, so that's a fair assessment. I just thought the group shape changes were telling me something.
