    Scenars for hunting

    I have a 6.5wby that is really having problems shooting the 140 Bergers consistently. Just for kicks I loaded some 139 Scenars using the same 68grs of Vit 560 and it shoots 1/4" groups every single time. Any experience with using Scenars for hunting? Specifically for whitetails. Thanks in advance.

    Re: Berger VLD killing power Berger VLD's will perform in most any hunting situation. The hunting VLD and Target VLD's are not different other than the color of the box. The Target VLD's are not marked as hunting bullets until Berger gets feed back from hunters.

    I having the toughest time getting my rifle shoot. I know the rifle is built. I know I am capable of shooting tiny little groups. Anybody got any favorite concoctions for this caliber and Bergers? Please share.
