    My 6.5cm bolt gun has a SiCo break. I've shot it with the omega 300 and the flow 762 (just screwed the hub from the omega onto the hux) both group well. I can't realy hear which is quieter. (tinnitus) I ran the hux in a recent PRS and it was quiet enough that the shot timer had trouble...

    I am not in the top 1/4. Old Man's comment about wind and familiarity are good. The 1K know distance range I get to shoot at, the wind frequently blows from 2 direction. I would add that selecting the right cartridge will help. I can shoot 175/178/185s out of a .308 but my 6.5 cm with 140/144s...

    I replaced a barrel on my 700 308 with another prefit 308 - since my old lug had been thicker I had to get a standard thickness lug from PTG as well as the lug alignment tool from brownells, then torque to spec (?) 90 lbs with a SAC barrel vice, then had to do a couple passes with a finishing...

    Sorry, here is a better photo - 1 in 8 twist - in my 24" proof barrel I get more like 2900 fps but that is in Arizona where it is a bit hotter and drier..

    The ventum is a hub interface - was easy to connect it a SiCo quick attch break as well

    I have 2 from Hux/Oss - a 7.62 Ti and a 7.62 ventum - they are awesome on my gas guns that don't have a adjustable gas block - the ventum on my 6.5 obr upper only shifts poi by .1 mil and doesn't open up the groups.
