Q Boombox In Subsonic 8.6 Blackout - Anyone With Accuracy Data?

Nice. Which Seekins platform did you start with? I've seen decent 8.6 Blk super groups, but not many good 8.6 Blk subsonic groups.

Yes, sorry for typo, will correct.

Q Boombox In Subsonic 8.6 Blackout - Anyone With Accuracy Data?

It doesn't look like anyone has subsonic Q Boombox accuracy data they want to share. How about you guys at Q - do you have some photos of 5 shot groups at 300 yards using factory ammo you can share with us?

    AR Positional POI Shift Test

This is a great thread - thanks for starting it and for your data to kick it off! I have noticed different levels of POI shift between 7 different ARs. I have noticed it is less for rifles with stiffer connection between receiver and hand guard and thicker barrel contours, but I have never...

Q Boombox In Subsonic 8.6 Blackout - Anyone With Accuracy Data?

Does anyone have direct experience with or a reliable source for Boombox subsonic accuracy in 8.6 Blackout at a range of 300 yards +/-? Subsonic accuracy of 1.5 MOA at 300 yards is my desired spec for reliable subsonic kills on coyote and hogs. I've been waiting for a few years for a subsonic...

EOTech Holographic Sight Parallax Induced POA Error Compared to Reflex Red Dot Sights

Thanks for these insights houndog. Your experience is roughly consistent with some of the other test results, including the Green Eye Tactical results I referenced early in the thread. Ilya has also weighed in stating that parallax error is a function of distance. I’ll see if the local gun...

EOTech Holographic Sight Parallax Induced POA Error Compared to Reflex Red Dot Sights

Sorry for not being more specific and thank you again for pointing it out so I could make the intention clear. I don't think this back and forth is interesting for others so I'm not going to continue it.

EOTech Holographic Sight Parallax Induced POA Error Compared to Reflex Red Dot Sights

Please allow me to clarify. By "Hide behavior" I meant to say "the behavior of certain Hide members". Thank you for asking for clarification rather than telling me what I meant, very civil of you.

EOTech Holographic Sight Parallax Induced POA Error Compared to Reflex Red Dot Sights

Of course, it's not the Hide. The Hide has incredible information. It's people who behave this way. You are not the Hide.

EOTech Holographic Sight Parallax Induced POA Error Compared to Reflex Red Dot Sights

I just don't get this kind of Hide behavior. It is one of the reasons, perhaps the main reason, so many people are afraid to get more involved or try to and then lose interest and drop out when they experience this kind of attack.

EOTech Holographic Sight Parallax Induced POA Error Compared to Reflex Red Dot Sights

This means exactly what it says - "resolution in a performance parameter test". This does not refer in any way to the resolution of an optic. What would resolution of a red dot even mean - the red dot optic has a clear window and I have never seen anyone talk about the resolution of a clear...

EOTech Holographic Sight Parallax Induced POA Error Compared to Reflex Red Dot Sights

You may have skimmed over that post a little to fast because your comment mixes up measurement resolution in a parallax error test with the ability of a scope to resolve image detail, which of course is not related. Any test measurement of any product parameter, including how much parallax...

    Scope paralysis

200% agree. For long range, I shoot more accurately, faster and with more enjoyment with a send it level. I have multi-focal glasses so have trouble focusing on a bubble with both eyes open while staying on the target. With the a Send-it, as DBD says the lights make leveling almost...

You did well. The Hide comes through again.

    Scope paralysis

IMO there is never "too much scope" in terms of optical quality, turrets and controls, but budget and other constraints are important. If you buy a scope that is "only good enough" to shoot 300 or 400 yards in good conditions, if you keep shooting you are likely to find out later that the scope...
